New event platform “Virtual Trade Fair”

The new event platform “Virtual Trade Fair” has everything it takes to successfully and quickly hold digital and hybrid trade fairs and to build a community for trade fair participants via intelligent B2B matchmaking. 

It is multi-client capable, has an API interface and can be easily integrated into the customer’s IT environment. 

Included are among others products, videos, virtual meetings, chat rooms and live seminars. A content management system allows participants to enter their data and control their trade fair participation themselves.

BDSV goes digital: Successful launch of an online platform for the German security and defense industry

Recently an online platform for the German Pavilions of the German Security and Defence Industry was launched. This is a variably applicable, powerful and expandable system for online data acquisition and brochure production for all BDSV trade fair participation projects.

The system enables the entire workflow to be digitized – from creating a project, to collecting the exhibitor content, through to the final production of brochures. In addition, a high level of data security and data protection compliance in accordance with the GDPR is guaranteed.

The conception, programming of the back- and frontend, system integration and technical support were in our hands. In addition, we also handle the typesetting and printing of the exhibitor brochures for each trade fair participation.

interplastica & upakovka 2020: Renewed collaboration with Messe Düsseldorf

This year, wohlgemuth + team paid another visit to interplastica & upakovka 2020. From January 28th to 31st we spent a few exciting days in the Russian metropolis.

Like last year, we produced the official print catalogue, visitor guide and content for the online exhibitor directory for both trade fairs on behalf of Messe Düsseldorf. We were available as contact persons on site, met with the organisation teams of Messe Düsseldorf and were able to gain a great insight into this year’s trade fair programme.

We also interviewed some exhibitors from the German Pavilions at the trade fairs about their experiences with the international trade fair program and processed the feedback in social media posts for german-pavilion.com.

Interplastica 2020: It’s all about recycling

Issues such as sustainability, environmentally friendly production and resource efficiency have become increasingly important in recent years. This development was also clearly evident at interplastica 2020.

Promising recycling solutions were presented. More than 50 exhibitors presented solutions for processing and recycling. And the lectures and discussions also revolved around topics such as sustainability and resource conservation.

Exciting lectures in the innovationparc at upakovka 2020

As every year, upakovka will be held parallel to the interplastica. With the innovationparc, an area has been created where visitors can listen to lectures and discussions on the topics that are currently keeping the packaging industry on tenterhooks. In 2019, innovationparc has already been considerably enlarged due to the high demand from visitors.

At upakovka 2020, too, everything revolved around the topic of sustainability. Presentations with titles such as “From Food Loss to Circular Economy” or “Strengthening Short Food Supply Chains” show the importance of resource conservation and sustainability in the industry.

Ambience meets Business

The entire interior design industry with a single click – that’s the concept of the new business network ambista.  Koelnmesse has realized the project together with external partners (wohlgemuth + team, dimedis). Jens Wohlgemuth was there.

What is ambista?

Wohlgemuth: ambista is a business network.  The goal is to cover the entire interior design industry worldwide.

What services does your team offer, and what role have these played in ambista?

Wohlgemuth: at wohlgemuth + team we realize and support digital media projects for trade fair organizers.  We understand how exhibitors and visitors react to digital offerings, and how they need to be designed and conceived.  That’s why we offer consultation, design, and development up to operative assistance, marketing and sales of media products; a broad spectrum of services for digital projects like ambista.

What is special about ambista?

Wohlgemuth: ambista brings together the advantages of Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn.  The members present their products and news, find relevant content and generate leads – all in their own digital community.  That is unprecedented in the interior design industry.

 How did development proceed?

Wohlgemuth: There were a few workshops in Cologne and also Berlin, where we collaboratively worked out diverse themes with regard to the product and business mechanism with the Koelnmesse team.

What were some challenges?

Wohlgemuth: the tight  time-frame in which we merged Koelnmesse’s customer database as well as the selected search and filter technology with the specially developed community platform.  Parallel to that, we’ve produced a complete web design for ambista as well as the most diverse promotional means with regard to trade fair presence.  And: with our sales and content center, we ensured that the community, with its thousands of members and products, could start punctually on January 16th.  So there was a lot to do.

How was the cooperation with Koelnmesse?

Wohlgemuth:  That was really very good.  There was an intensive, general team spirit.  Harmonic teamwork with Koelnmesse was an important key for the important realization of ambista in such a short period of time.
